One key rule for safe driving is to ensure the road is clear before entering and to maintain a safe distance from other vehicles.
Abu Dhabi Police have released a video illustrating the importance of these rules. On Friday, they shared footage of an accident caused by a vehicle entering the road without checking for oncoming traffic.
The video shows a car pulling out from the shoulder, ignoring a larger vehicle approaching. The larger vehicle swerves to avoid a collision but loses control and overturns, resulting in a serious incident.
