The sports newspaper reported on Tuesday that Al Ahli has offered an annual salary of 10 million euros to the 27-year-old player Locatelli. Meanwhile, the Juventus midfielder is considering leaving his team, although the Croatian coach Igor Tudor is keen on keeping him as he is considered one of the key players in the squad.
Locatelli is under contract with the Italian team until the summer of 2028. He has expressed his intention to raise the contract purchase value to 30 million euros if Juventus, which has not yet responded, refuses.
In the same context, the management of the French club Monaco is open to selling the contract of Swiss midfielder Denis Zakaria to Al Ahli. Monaco aims to receive 45 million euros from the Saudi team, which has listed Zakaria as a top candidate to recruit a foreign midfielder during the summer transfer window.
Zakaria, aged 28, is contracted with his club until the summer of 2028. If he transfers to any club, his former club will receive a financial compensation known as a resale percentage.
Al Ahli has previously shown interest in Locatelli, Zakaria, and the French player Youssouf Fofana, a midfielder for AC Milan, to bring one of them during the current transfer window.
