A journalist from Al Jazeera was tragically killed in Gaza, confirmed a spokesperson from the Qatar-based television network on Monday.

The death of Mohammad Salama was “confirmed,” the spokesperson stated, following reports that an Israeli strike on Al Nasser Hospital resulted in his passing.

This incident occurred exactly two weeks after five other journalists from the network lost their lives late on August 11.

Among those who perished were Anas Al Sharif and Mohammed Qreiqeh, whose dedicated frontline reporting significantly contributed to global awareness of the Gaza conflict. The journalists were in a tent at the hospital’s main entrance, a place of refuge for witnesses of the war’s brutal realities, when the strike turned it into a scene of destruction.

Alongside Al Sharif and Qreiqeh, cameramen Ibrahim Zaher, Mohammed Noufal, and Moamen Aliwa were also killed, marking a tragic loss for the journalistic community documenting the conflict.
