Binance, the leading cryptocurrency exchange globally, has secured official approval from the Abu Dhabi Global Market’s (ADGM) regulatory body to operate its worldwide platform. This underscores Abu Dhabi’s increasing influence in crypto regulation.

Granted by ADGM’s Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA), the license enhances Binance’s credibility and opens vast international market access, solidifying its leadership in compliant digital finance.

Following this approval, Binance will manage operations through three regulated entities within ADGM, each with defined duties:

  • Nest Exchange Services Limited – a Recognised Investment Exchange overseeing all trading, including spot and derivatives.

  • Nest Clearing and Custody Limited – a Recognised Clearing House responsible for clearing, settlement, and safeguarding user digital assets.

  • Nest Trading Limited – a Broker-Dealer managing off-exchange and OTC trading activities.

Binance considers this one of the most comprehensive regulatory frameworks available to any global crypto platform. The company aims to commence its ADGM-regulated operations on January 5, 2026.

Co-CEO Richard Teng stated that the license “provides the regulatory clarity and legitimacy needed to support our global operations from ADGM,” adding that this regulatory base offers “users peace of mind knowing that Binance operates under a globally recognized, gold-standard framework.”

Binance assured customers that these changes are primarily regulatory and will not impact the user experience. “Existing credentials, balances, order history, and trading functions remain unchanged, with services delivered through newly regulated entities to ensure compliance,” the statement highlighted.
