His Excellency Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to Her Highness the President of the State, met with His Excellency Josep Borrell, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security, as well as Vice-President of the European Commission.
During this meeting, the parties focused on key issues of common interest, emphasizing the importance of ensuring stability in the region. They agreed on the need to reduce tensions and actively support diplomatic solutions that will help effectively deal with existing crises. The issues of humanitarian assistance to reduce the suffering caused by current conflicts and instability were also raised.
In addition, the strengthening of friendly relations and cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the European Union, as well as opportunities for further development of this interaction, were discussed. The event was also attended by H.E. Luigi Di Maio, the EU Special Envoy for the Persian Gulf, and Lucy Berger, the EU Ambassador to the country.
