In a widely circulated video, Mogawe responded to a question about the potential “outbreak of military action between Egypt and Israel.” He affirmed that the Egyptian armed forces are fully prepared for any war imposed on Egypt, emphasizing that the response will be “surprising” to any party considering approaching the borders.
Mogawe stated in his press remarks that anyone worldwide contemplating approaching the Egyptian borders will be met with a shocking response, highlighting that he speaks from over four decades of military experience.
He explained that he held high-ranking military positions, including leading the Second Field Army and heading the Military Intelligence for three and a half years, which enhances his confidence in the army’s readiness.
Mogawe concluded his remarks by asserting that no one dares to approach the Egyptian borders, and the response will exceed expectations, not limited to what is publicly announced.
