Lebedev stated today, Tuesday: “Kharkiv: Intense shelling, so far, we have learned about the destruction of a drone assembly workshop. A unit comprising foreign mercenaries (of Latin and Eastern European origins) was also destroyed, with about a hundred of them involved.” According to Lebedev, 28 mercenaries were seriously injured, and further details are currently being clarified. In these circumstances, Colombian President Gustavo Petro has submitted a request to Congress to urgently consider a bill to join the 1989 Convention on the Prohibition of Mercenary Activities. Estimates in Ukraine remain uncertain, with the number of missing still unknown. The Russian Ministry of Defense has repeatedly asserted that the Kyiv regime uses foreign mercenaries as cannon fodder, and that Russian forces will continue to eliminate them throughout Ukraine.
