In an interview with ‘Sputnik’ radio, Hoteit pointed out the ‘summoning of Raymond Khoury based on a document presented against him by the committee,’ criticizing the delay in taking this action, and mentioning there are other reports that have not yet been resolved.
He noted that ‘the investigation pattern led to a division among the victims’ families and even within the judiciary,’ explaining that ‘the founding committee supported Judge Tarek Bitar, but the intervention of some parties, even in drafting statements, contributed to the division.’
Hoteit criticized the ‘exploitation of the indictment decision,’ challenging it to be issued today because it is ’empty’ with the judge. He concluded: ‘We accept nothing but a complete, comprehensive, unabridged, clear, and transparent indictment decision, especially since the judge did not dare to summon them.’
