Lari Jani explained in a press statement on Sunday that Israel attempted to portray itself as victorious through a media campaign. However, the facts that later emerged, including the extent of the damage caused by Iranian missiles inside Israel, proved otherwise. He stated that strict censorship in Israel prevented the publication of these losses at the time, but they became evident after the war ended.

The Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council added that Israel was betting on Iran’s isolation in its Islamic surroundings, but Arab and Islamic countries stood by Iran, while Europe and the United States supported Tel Aviv. Ali Larijani pointed out that the ‘barrage of Iranian missiles confused and destabilized Israeli defenses,’ revealing that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin called a regional leader on the first day, saying Iran was finished, but returned a few days later to admit to ‘significant problems.’

On the night of June 13th, Israel launched an operation against Iran, accusing it of ‘running a secret military nuclear program,’ targeting air raids on nuclear facilities, prominent generals, nuclear physicists, and airbases. Iran, in turn, rejected these accusations and responded with specific attacks. Both sides, joined by the United States, exchanged attacks, with the US conducting a one-time strike on Iranian nuclear facilities on the night of June 22nd.

Following that, Tehran launched missile strikes on the American ‘Al-Udeid’ base in Qatar on the evening of the 23rd of the same month, affirming that the Iranian side does not intend to escalate further.
