Cairo – Sputnik. Anis Al-Subhi, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health in the ‘Ansar Allah’ government, wrote in a post on ‘X’ that the number of victims from the treacherous crime committed by the criminal Zionist enemy entity, which targeted the capital Sana’a and Al-Jawf Governorate with several airstrikes, reached 35 martyrs and 131 injured. He clarified that 28 martyrs and 113 injured were in the airstrikes on Sana’a, and 7 martyrs and 18 injured in Al-Jawf.

On Wednesday evening, Israeli warplanes carried out 7 airstrikes on the Ministry of Defense headquarters of the ‘Ansar Allah’ government in the Bab Al-Yemen area in central Sana’a, buildings affiliated with the army’s high command (General Staff), and the moral guidance division in the Tahrir area in the city center, as well as a fuel station on Sixty Street southwest of Sana’a, according to a source in Sana’a to ‘Sputnik’.

The Israeli airstrikes on Sana’a and Al-Jawf come after ‘Ansar Allah’ announced attacking ‘sensitive targets’ around the city of Jerusalem with a ‘Palestine 2’ hypersonic ballistic missile with multiple warheads and launching three drones at Ramon Airport and ‘two vital targets’ in the Eilat area in southern Israel.

‘Ansar Allah’ has intensified its attacks on Israel since it announced, at the end of August, the killing of its Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi and several ministers and the injury of others in an Israeli air raid on August 28, which the group said targeted a routine workshop held by the government to evaluate its activity and performance over a year.

On July 28, ‘Ansar Allah’ announced the escalation of its attacks on Israel and began the fourth phase of the ‘naval blockade on Israel’, threatening to target ships belonging to any company dealing with Israeli ports regardless of their nationality and anywhere the group’s forces can reach, in response to continued Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip.

Since Israel resumed its military operations in the Gaza Strip on March 18, ‘Ansar Allah’ in Yemen has intensified its attacks on Israel and ships linked to it and the United States and Britain, prompting the US forces to carry out hundreds of airstrikes on the group’s sites in Yemen, before the group and Washington reached an agreement on May 6 to cease fire between them, but ‘Ansar Allah’ confirmed that the agreement does not include operations against Israel.

The ‘Ansar Allah’ group has controlled most of the central and northern governorates of Yemen, including the capital Sana’a, since September 2014, while a Saudi-led Arab coalition launched military operations on March 26, 2015, in support of the Yemeni army to reclaim those areas from the group.
