The Times of Israel reported that the Israeli army stated the Skylark 3 drone was on a reconnaissance mission when it had to make an emergency landing in northern Gaza due to a technical fault. The army added that there is no risk of information leakage from the drone. Palestinian media circulated a video showing the Israeli reconnaissance drone after it fell in Gaza, surrounded by local residents, some of whom attempted to destroy the drone. It is worth mentioning that the Skylark drone is a tactical reconnaissance drone manufactured by Elbit Systems and operated by the Israeli army’s artillery unit. Over the past years, many of these drones have fallen in military operation areas. Adraee explained in a statement that the operation included the injection of more than 20,000 cubic meters of sealing materials through a special system extending over a distance of 4.5 kilometers, from the border fence area near the town of Netiv HaAsara to the depth of the tunnel path.
