The Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported today, Sunday, that the man and his son are accused of carrying out an attack on a club in the East, as well as killing a pilot. It noted that laboratories used by the suspects to prepare explosive devices were found. The investigation details indicate that the son was a candidate for recruitment, but his father persuaded him to change his mind and engage in what it described as ‘terrorist activities.’
Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz announced earlier today, Sunday, that Israeli army forces ‘will remain deployed in refugee camps in the northern West Bank until the end of the current year.’ Katz added that ‘the Jenin, Tulkarm, and Nur Shams camps were hotspots for terrorism, funded and armed by Iran, serving as another front against Israel.’
He confirmed that the Israeli army, over the past eight months, has carried out an ‘intensive attack, during which camp residents were evacuated, militants were killed, and the infrastructure used by terrorist groups was destroyed,’ according to the Times of Israel newspaper. In January, the Israeli army launched an attack against terrorist elements in the northern areas, focusing on refugee camps in the Jenin and Tulkarm regions.
