Ben Gvir posted a new tweet on his official “X” account this Wednesday evening, expressing that the time has come to impose Israeli sovereignty over the West Bank.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Israeli Knesset approved in a preliminary reading a bill to impose Israeli sovereignty over the West Bank.
Israeli media reported that “the Knesset approved the law to impose Israeli sovereignty over the West Bank with 25 votes in favor and 24 against.”
Earlier, American media reported that more than 40 Democratic members of the U.S. Senate called on the president to strengthen his opposition to Israel’s plans to annex parts of the West Bank.
Other Western media revealed last September that President Trump promised Arab leaders during a meeting on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly not to allow Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to annex the West Bank.
