This type of warship is known as “Karakurt-E,” designed to engage hostile surface ships, aerial targets, and maritime targets within its coverage range, according to the Russian site “Rosoboronexport.” The armament of the “Karakurt-E” includes three important weapons. Although classified as a corvette, which is a type of warship smaller than a frigate, it possesses tremendous firepower equivalent to that of a frigate. This vessel can be relied upon to assert maritime dominance for a state with its precision-guided missiles, which can be used against maritime targets or even to bombard land targets deep within enemy territory.
The ship’s armament reveals its possession of multiple missile and artillery systems that provide protection against all aerial threats during wartime. Additionally, it can be relied upon to secure coastal areas in peacetime.
