In an interview with ‘Sputnik’ radio, Koman said, ‘Trump was able to impose what he deemed appropriate to solve this intractable crisis due to the obstinacy of the Western side, especially with the presence of a previous administration,’ confirming that ‘Trump wanted to establish an idea.’
Koman added, ‘Without American support, Kyiv would not withstand the massive Russian war machine,’ explaining that ‘Trump does not want to provide additional support, but at the same time, he wants to find a solution that preserves American interests.’
He continued, ‘The Europeans are tired and need security guarantees,’ asserting that ‘the European Union is not capable of a permanent confrontation with Russia, and at the same time wants to find an outlet for the investments it placed in Ukraine.’
The ‘Sputnik guest’ clarified that ‘when Zelensky came to the White House, he appeared as if he was an employee of Trump, confirming that ‘Ukraine, due to its current system, has lost sovereignty, and the decision of peace and war is not in its hands but in the hands of the allies, which is a very dangerous issue.’
The researcher in Russian affairs emphasized that ‘Europeans can only get one thing from the United States, which is guarantees only.’
