On Tuesday, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni announced that she and two of her ministers have been reported to the International Criminal Court for alleged involvement in genocide regarding Israel’s actions in Gaza.
In an interview with the state broadcaster RAI, Meloni mentioned that Defence Minister Guido Crosetto and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani were named, and possibly Roberto Cingolani, the head of the defence company Leonardo, as well.
Meloni also expressed her opinion that US President Donald Trump has realized that Russia is not interested in a peace agreement with Ukraine.
