Q Mobility has launched a new paid parking system near several Al Ain schools, effective from Tuesday, September 23. This initiative activates 4,671 parking spots across key streets in three main sectors of the Schools’ Zone – Falaj Hazza.
The goal is to enhance traffic flow and ensure student safety, particularly during peak hours, according to the company.
The Schools’ Zone in Al Ain has struggled with various traffic issues, such as random and illegal parking in undesignated areas. These issues decrease visibility, elevate risks for students, and lead to congestion. Additionally, school bus operations have been disrupted, causing delays in drop-offs and pick-ups.

The paid parking system aims to manage traffic better, offer safer routes for students, and facilitate smoother school bus operations. Standard Mawaqif rates apply.
Founded last year, Q Mobility oversees Abu Dhabi’s toll system ‘DARB’ and parking system ‘Mawaqif,’ regulated by the Department of Municipalities and Transport through the Integrated Transport Centre.
