Warsaw – Sputnik. The report indicated that “the border guards forcibly sent them to the border and handed them over to the Ukrainian side.” It explained that the reason for their expulsion from Poland was mainly under Article 302 (1) paragraph 9 of the Law of December 12, 2013, regarding foreigners, which pertains to considerations of state defense or security, the protection of public security and order, or the interests of the Republic of Poland. The Polish side clarified that the individuals expelled from Poland had been repeatedly punished for committing crimes and offenses. The statement mentioned, “This includes, among other things, possession of drugs and psychotropic substances, theft, robbery, document forgery, driving under the influence of alcohol, and organizing illegal border crossings into Poland.” According to the State Border Committee, the expelled Ukrainians were listed as undesirable persons on the territory of the Republic of Poland and were banned from returning to Poland for a period ranging from 5 to 10 years.
