Tusk said on the ‘X’ platform: “The process regarding the repeated violation of Polish airspace is ongoing. The forces used weapons against the targets. I am in constant contact with the President and the Minister of Defense, and I received a direct report from the operations commander.”
Deputy Minister of Defense, Cezary Tomczyk, stated on the social media platform ‘X’ that an operation to neutralize objects that violated the borders is underway over Poland. The Polish military claimed it shot down several drones that violated its airspace.
Polish media, citing the ‘NOTAM’ of the US Federal Aviation Administration, reported that four Polish airports, including Chopin Airport in Warsaw, were closed on Wednesday evening due to “unplanned military activities related to state security.”
