According to Nepal’s state-run TV, at least fourteen individuals have lost their lives during widespread protests in the country.
The demonstrations in Kathmandu, Nepal’s capital, are focused on eradicating corruption and urging the government to revoke its ban on social media platforms.
Since Friday, several social media sites, like Facebook, YouTube, and X, have been inaccessible due to the government’s block on 26 unregistered platforms, causing frustration and confusion among users.
