The unstoppable success of Pushpa continues to make waves. At the SIIMA Awards in Dubai on Saturday, Pushpa 2: The Rule swept five major awards, and fans received the exciting news they were waiting for: director Sukumar confirmed that Pushpa 3: The Rampage is officially in the works.
The film’s key team — Sukumar, Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Devi Sri Prasad, and producer Naveen Yerneni — shone at the prestigious event. Arjun clinched Best Actor, Rashmika was named Best Actress, Sukumar received Best Director, Devi Sri Prasad earned Best Music Composer, and Shankar Babu Kandukuri was awarded Best Playback Singer (Male) for Peelings.
The highlight of the evening was when the hosts humorously referenced Fahadh Faasil’s famous line, “Party ledha Pushpa?” (Is there no party, Pushpa?), prompting Sukumar to divulge the series’ future. After a nod from Arjun and the producer, Sukumar smiled and announced, “Obviously, Pushpa 3 undi.”
Following the triumphs, Arjun expressed his gratitude on social media:
“Thank you, SIIMA, for the unwavering support and recognition. Winning 3 consecutive SIIMA Awards is incredibly humbling. Congratulations to all winners and nominees. This honor belongs to my Director @aryasukku garu for making this possible, my fellow artists, technicians, producers, and the entire Pushpa team. I dedicate these awards to my fans for their endless love and support. Humbled.”
Pushpa: The Rise (2021) overcame pandemic challenges to earn ₹350 crore worldwide, becoming the top hit of the year. In 2024, Pushpa 2: The Rule surpassed expectations, grossing over ₹1871 crore globally, making it the highest-grossing Indian film of that year and the second highest ever after Dangal.
The story centers on Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj, a laborer who becomes a powerful red sanders smuggler, striving for legitimacy and respect. Rashmika Mandanna plays his wife Srivalli, while Fahadh Faasil stars as the formidable police officer Bhanwar Singh Shekawat.
