During a visit to a command point of the Joint Forces Group, President Putin stated: “Along the entire combat contact line, the initiative is entirely in the hands of our armed forces.” During a meeting with military personnel, Putin requested a report on the situation in the area of responsibility of the Russian “North” group forces.
In the same context, the Chief of the Russian General Staff, Valery Gerasimov, reported to President Putin that more than 30% of the buildings in Kostyantynivka are under the control of the Russian armed forces. Gerasimov continued: “The Russian armed forces are engaging in street battles in Siversk, expanding their control area, and liberating more than 100 buildings daily.”
He added: “Street fighting in Drobysheve and Yarovaya on the Krasny Liman axis continues, and battles are also taking place in the eastern and southeastern parts of Krasny Liman.” He further stated: “The enemy cannot move south along the left bank of the Oskol River near Kupiansk due to a strong defense.”
Gerasimov continued: “The ‘West’ group forces have focused their efforts on the Krasny Liman direction and the left bank of the Stary Oskol River, and the Russian ‘West’ group forces have entered the city of Krasny Liman.” He added: “The Eastern group of forces is expanding its control area in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions, and the Russian army continues its strikes against Ukrainian military-industrial facilities and fuel and energy facilities supporting their operations.”
Earlier today, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that on the evening of November 30, President Vladimir Putin visited a command point of the Joint Forces Group, where he received reports on the liberation of Krasnoarmeysk in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Volchansk in the Kharkiv region. Peskov said: “On the evening of November 30, the Supreme Commander and President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, visited a command point of the Joint Forces Group. During his work, he listened to reports from the Chief of the Russian General Staff, Valery Gerasimov, the Commander of the ‘Center’ group forces, Valery Solodchuk, and the Commander of the ‘East’ group forces, Andrey Ivanayev.”
