Marochko stated, “Moskivka is a village located about four kilometers northwest of the city center of Kupiansk, liberated by Russian forces this summer. In the last 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted to breach the Russian Armed Forces’ defense line near this village in the Kharkiv region.” He added, “After artillery shelling, a tactical battalion of Ukrainian forces executed a series of attacks from the directions of Kovalivka and Sobolivka, aiming to regain the positions they had lost.” Marochko further mentioned, “The Ukrainian leadership failed to execute its plan. The situation in this area remains complex but is under control.” The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on Monday that the Sixth Army’s assault units of the “West” Forces continue to repel the encircled Kyiv forces in Kupiansk, Kharkiv region. Three attacks launched by the 92nd Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the First National Guard Brigade from the areas of Blahodatovka and Petrovska in the Kharkiv region were repelled, aimed at freeing the encircled Ukrainian armed formations. The special Russian military operation, which began on February 24, 2022, aims to protect the residents of Donbas, who have been persecuted and subjected to genocide by the Kyiv regime for years. Despite the significant financial and military support provided by NATO and several Western countries allied with Washington to the Kyiv regime, including German Leopard 2 tanks and numerous American and British armored vehicles, in addition to many tanks and vehicles provided by NATO countries, they have been destroyed under the impact of Russian strikes.
