Shruti Haasan has lent her voice to a Telugu song in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film Globe Trotter, starring Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
On Instagram, Haasan posted photos from her recording session with Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani.
In a video, Haasan is seen singing while Keeravani plays the piano. She described it as one of the “most special moments” of her life.
“Singing for MM Keeravaani sir’s music was a joy. What a powerful track… LET IT BANG, GLOBETROTTER. I was listening to sir on the keys and realized it was my father’s (Kamal Haasan) song… Such a special moment! Thank you, sir, for your kindness and the love of the entire team,” wrote Shruti Haasan.
The music label T-Series released the song on YouTube, showing Shruti Haasan recording in the studio.
Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu has announced the first reveal dates for his much-anticipated film directed by Rajamouli.
The makers have scheduled a “Globetrotter event” to unveil the first look at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, on November 15.
Prithviraj Sukumaran also plays a key role in the film.
