According to the Israeli newspaper “Maariv,” residents discovered more than 20 snakes last month, including newborn snakes. This indicates the presence of active breeding centers under the buildings. One resident described the situation to the newspaper. Another citizen added, “My child found a small snake in the living room, and it seems to be newly born. Not a day passes without seeing a snake on the stairs or near the building, and we have become afraid to enter the house.” Residents pointed out that snakes appear in homes, staircases, and courtyards, posing a direct threat to everyone. They confirmed that they have repeatedly reported to the municipality without any concrete solutions so far. In response, the Tiberias municipality announced that they have called in specialized experts to inspect the area.
