The Israeli channel i24news reported on Friday that two Israelis were injured, one of them seriously, following a stabbing operation inside a hotel in the town of Tzova in Jerusalem. The Israeli police stated on their website that they managed to arrest the perpetrator and are interrogating him at the scene of the incident.

The Magen David Adom ambulance service explained that the first injured man, aged 50, is in serious condition after being injured in the upper body. The second Israeli, aged 23, sustained moderate injuries. Both men were transferred to a hospital in Jerusalem for treatment.

The Israeli channel clarified that the perpetrator is a 28-year-old resident of the Shuafat refugee camp and has a criminal record. He was arrested about a decade ago due to his national activities. The channel added that a policeman was present at the hotel at the time of the attack, responded quickly, engaged with the attacker, and managed to control and arrest him.

It is noteworthy that this is the second incident in occupied Jerusalem within just five days, following the shooting near the Ramot junction last Monday, which resulted in the death of six Israelis and injuries to 12 others.
