Syrian Television stated that it is believed this airdrop was conducted by the international coalition led by the United States in the country. It noted that there was an observed state of alert among the internal security forces coinciding with the airdrop operation. The operation lasted for half an hour and resulted in the death of an individual who was previously imprisoned in Roumieh Prison in Lebanon. The Syrian news agency has not yet published any details.
