Adraee, whose resignation was reported by the newspaper ‘Maariv’, has emerged over the past two years through Israeli army statements directed at the Arab street. He had a strong presence on social media, in addition to his media campaigns during the war.
Among Adraee’s tasks, which he diligently pursued, was publishing maps and warnings before Israeli attacks in Gaza and Lebanon, as part of what the army describes as ‘operational media’ efforts aimed at conveying messages to civilian populations.
The Israeli army is searching for a replacement to take over the Arabic-language media file, and reports indicate that there are three candidates undergoing tests, including on-camera performance tests.
