Suleiman explained in an interview with ‘Sputnik’ radio that ‘Antifa’ is a leftist anti-fascist movement. The assassination incident of the American conservative activist and supporter of U.S. President Charlie Kirk in the United States increased fears and intensified this conflict, prompting Hungary to demand attention to the threat coming from the left.
Suleiman clarified that the involvement of young people seeking noble goals, who are disconnected from history, within these decentralized movements, and their equal confrontation with the police and refusal to recognize its right to monopolize violence, is gradually turning into a popular mood. This mood benefits governments and their leaders in serving their interests without being part of it.
