A fire broke out at a high-rise building in Al Barsha, just a few meters away from the parking lot of Mall of the Emirates, around 2 PM on Tuesday, residents in the area told Khaleej Times.
“I was eating lunch when I heard several fire trucks arriving. I went outside and saw the upper floor of the building on fire,” said Mira, a Filipino expat living in Al Barsha 1.
The affected building is next to the residential building that caught fire on December 30 last year.
