Fire Erupts in Al Barsha High-Rise Near Mall

A fire erupted in a high-rise building in Al Barsha, just meters from the Mall of the Emirates parking lot, around 2 PM on Tuesday, according to local residents who spoke to Khaleej Times.

“I was having lunch when I heard several fire trucks approaching. I stepped outside and saw the top floor of the building engulfed in flames,” said Mira, a Filipino resident of Al Barsha 1.

The building is adjacent to the residential structure that caught fire on December 30 last year.
