Health Magazine and Thumbay Media have announced a strategic partnership with global consultancy Knight Frank to independently evaluate and verify all nominations for the Annual Health Awards 2025. This move underscores the Awards’ unwavering commitment to ethics, fairness, and merit-based recognition.

Set to take place on October 9, 2025, at the Grand Hyatt Dubai, the Health Awards is the UAE’s largest healthcare recognition platform, expecting more than 1,000 attendees. This year’s edition will honour 15 outstanding Emirati healthcare professionals alongside 46 award categories spanning hospitals, clinical excellence, leadership, health tech, public health campaigns, and more.

Through this partnership, Knight Frank’s Healthcare Advisory team will conduct a rigorous multi-stage evaluation process — screening, shortlisting, due diligence, and jury presentations — ensuring every awardee is truly deserving. Their methodology includes verifying credentials, interviewing nominees where necessary, and applying clear scoring criteria to maintain complete transparency and impartiality.

“By engaging an independent, globally respected firm like Knight Frank, we’re sending a clear message: recognition at the Health Awards cannot be bought, influenced, or swayed — it must be earned,” said Vignesh S Unadkat, chief operating officer, Thumbay Media.

“This is about upholding the credibility of the awards and celebrating genuine excellence in healthcare.”

Dr Gireesh Kumar, associate partner — healthcare advisory, Knight Frank Mena, added: “Our role is to ensure the evaluation process is objective, transparent, and built on evidence. We’re proud to offer our expertise to support this prestigious initiative that celebrates those raising the standards of healthcare in the region.”

The Health Awards, now in its biggest edition yet, will also be backed by a robust multimedia campaign across TV, print, digital, and social platforms, amplifying the stories of nominees and winners alike.
