In an interview with Sputnik Radio, Barghouti stated: “There can be no agreement without specific provisions that include guarantees against returning to conflict, the withdrawal of the occupying forces from Gaza, and a clarification of the meeting points and divergences between the American and Israeli positions.”
Barghouti emphasized that “the Palestinian resistance will not surrender, and its goal is not to keep Israeli prisoners.” He explained that “their release depends on ensuring the respect of any agreement and the complete cessation of Israeli military operations, as well as enabling Palestinians to manage the sector.”
He affirmed that “the Beijing Agreement represents the best alternative.” Barghouti concluded: “Netanyahu’s continuation of the war means the ongoing plan of ethnic cleansing and the displacement of Gaza’s residents,” stressing that “what is required is its entirety.”
