Jin Ping said, “The modernization of China is a modernization that follows the path of peaceful development. China will always remain a driving force for peace, stability, and progress worldwide.”
He added, “Humanity, living on one planet, must coexist peacefully and never return to the law of the jungle, where the strong defeat the weak.”
He stated, “We must all support the common values of all humanity and unwaveringly uphold international justice and fairness.”
China organized a massive military parade in Tiananmen Square in central Beijing on Wednesday, marking the 8th anniversary of World War II and the victory over Japan.
The event was attended by leaders from 26 foreign countries, including Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, as well as representatives of international organizations, veterans, and descendants of World War II heroes.
