In a statement issued by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it expressed strong condemnation of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s statements calling for the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza, describing them as a “dangerous extension” of occupation policies. It considered these statements a blatant violation of international law and United Nations resolutions, and an infringement on the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people to remain on their land and establish their independent state.

It added that achieving stability in the region requires a commitment to the two-state solution and the establishment of a sovereign independent Palestinian state, according to international legitimacy resolutions.

It is noted that the plan to control the city includes the forced displacement of about a million Palestinians to the southern sector, which has caused widespread international criticism of Israel, which continued its readiness to implement the plan despite all warnings.

The residents of the Gaza Strip suffer from unprecedented levels of hunger, with UN organizations warning of the spread of famine and an increase in deaths resulting from malnutrition, especially among children, the sick, and the disabled.

From October 7, 2023, to August 21, 2025, the war on Gaza has caused the death of about 62,000 Palestinians, in addition to about 157,000 injured, according to data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.

Meanwhile, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov expressed Moscow’s concern over the escalation in the Gaza Strip and the civilian casualties, affirming that Moscow is closely monitoring the situation and looks forward to returning to the path of peace.
