Central Quarry & Mining (CQM) is boosting its production capacity in response to soaring demand for top-grade aggregate across the region. This strategic enhancement aligns with the rapid growth in construction and infrastructure sectors, which need superior raw materials.

Currently underway, the expansion will significantly increase CQM’s crushing and screening capabilities, allowing the company to fulfill existing contracts and accommodate a rising number of new projects. This move solidifies CQM’s status as a leading provider of premium-grade aggregate for the Middle East’s major developments.

“We’re witnessing a surge in demand from infrastructure and large-scale industrial clients who depend on the quality and reliability of our aggregate,” stated Mohammed Ibrahim, the customer relationship manager at Central Quarry & Mining.

“This capacity upgrade isn’t just about increasing volume; it’s about exceeding expectations in a competitive market. Quarries in the region aim to meet the UAE’s strict quality standards, and we’re proud to consistently deliver,” he added.

The expansion involves integrating advanced material handling systems and a new fleet of earthmoving and heavy equipment from Galadari, enhancing CQM’s production and delivery efficiency. CQM manages all quarrying activities internally, from blasting to final delivery, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the process.

Industry experts note that CQM’s expansion comes at a crucial time, as aggregate demand in the GCC reaches unprecedented levels. Reliable access to high-density materials is essential for urban expansion and industrial zones, and CQM is prepared to meet this demand.

Part of D-Group UAE, a diverse business group led by Vinod Damodaran, CQM benefits from a robust management team and an integrated structure that promotes agility and efficiency.

With operations strategically based in Kadra (Ras Al Khaimah), CQM supplies aggregates to key UAE infrastructure projects such as highways, runways, and ports. As the UAE advances with initiatives like UAE Vision 2031 and Dubai’s 2040 Urban Master Plan, the demand for quality construction materials remains strong. CQM’s expansion positions it to meet the sector’s evolving needs and contribute significantly to regional growth.
