When Cristiano Ronaldo arrived in Manchester at 18, he was a young talent from Madeira with big dreams and a contract at Sporting Lisbon. Now, two decades later, the world’s first billionaire footballer admits he’s lost track of his car collection.
“If I had to guess, I’d say 40 or 41,” Ronaldo shared with Piers Morgan in a new interview. “Honestly, I don’t know. I adore Bugattis — they’re extraordinary.”
The Portuguese icon’s passion for supercars launched soon after joining Manchester United in 2003. Within a year, he was driving a £67,500 Porsche Cayenne. This was the start of one of the world’s most coveted car collections.
The DailyMail reports that during his early United years, Ronaldo upgraded from the Cayenne to more luxurious vehicles. His hobby almost turned tragic in 2009 when he crashed a £200,000 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano before a Chelsea match. Though the car was wrecked, Ronaldo emerged unscathed.
That same year, his record-breaking £80 million transfer to Real Madrid transformed both his career and his garage. Thanks to Real’s Audi sponsorship, Ronaldo received a new model annually, including an Audi RS5, R8, and S8, all impeccably maintained for his star lifestyle.
Bugattis, Bentleys, and a Billionaire’s Taste
Upon joining Juventus in 2018, Ronaldo’s car enthusiasm intensified. The highlight? An £8.5 million Bugatti Centodieci, one of just ten worldwide. With 1600 horsepower and speeds up to 236mph, it’s a vehicle for the elite.

Ronaldo is a fan of Bugatti, owning a £1.5 million Veyron and a £2 million Chiron, both staples of his collection. “I like to have two of each,” he told Morgan, explaining the mystery of his extensive garage.
His impressive lineup includes:
-
Mercedes G-Wagon Brabus (£600,000) – a gift from his partner, Georgina Rodríguez
-
McLaren MP4-12C (£200,000)
-
Lamborghini Aventador (£270,000)
-
Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG (£200,000)
-
Bentley Flying Spur (£250,000)
-
Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Convertible (£200,000)
-
Ferrari Monza (£1.4 million)
-
McLaren Senna (£750,000)
-
Ferrari 599 GTO (£500,000)
Rodríguez also gifted Ronaldo a Rolls-Royce Dawn (£500,000) for his 36th birthday, adding to their collection of three Rolls-Royces, including a Cullinan (£300,000) and a Phantom Drophead Coupe (£500,000).
Life in Saudi Arabia
Since moving to Saudi Arabia to join Al-Nassr on a £175 million-a-year deal, Ronaldo’s taste for luxury has soared. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner reportedly resides in a highly secure Riyadh compound with amenities and a massive garage.

In his chat with Morgan, Ronaldo mentioned acquiring a £3.2 million Bugatti Tourbillon as an “investment,” alongside a £2 million Ferrari Daytona SP3, the latest addition to his Saudi collection.
Thanks to Al-Nassr’s BMW partnership, players receive a new BMW yearly — one of the few cars Ronaldo drives in Saudi Arabia. “I had to drive it home after training,” he said, noting that Saudi traffic often keeps him out of the driver’s seat.
Fans got a rare glimpse inside Ronaldo’s Riyadh residence during the interview, filmed in his private man cave filled with leather sofas, football memorabilia, and perhaps keys to his car collection.
While he may not know the exact number of cars he owns, one thing is clear: Cristiano Ronaldo’s garage is as legendary as his football career.
