The email also cited threats at other airports, including Delhi, Chennai, and Goa. In response, safety checks were promptly conducted at all mentioned locations.
The devastating blast on Monday, November 10, claimed at least 12 lives and injured many others. Investigations are ongoing, and the government announced a compensation of Rs1,000,000 for those affected.
In addition to Delhi Police, the National Security Guard, National Investigation Agency, and Central Reserve Police Force were deployed to examine the blast site. The Ministry of Home Affairs transferred the case to the NIA.
According to PTI, more than 40 samples, including two cartridges and two distinct types of explosives, were collected by the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team from the Red Fort explosion site, officials said on Wednesday.
Initial findings suggest one of the explosive materials is likely ammonium nitrate, as reported.
On Monday, authorities recovered 360 kg of ammonium nitrate in Faridabad during an investigation, leading to the arrest of Dr. Muzammil Ganaie and Dr. Shaheen Sayeed from Al Falah University. Reports suggest their potential link to the Red Fort explosion.
