On Saturday, Delhi International Airport announced that all flight operations were back to normal following a technical glitch that caused delays for hundreds of flights over the past two days at one of the busiest airports globally.
The delays were due to a malfunction in the system responsible for generating flight plans. The Indian airports authority confirmed late Friday that the system was “operational” after resolving the issue.
By Saturday afternoon, the Automatic Message Switching System was restored to automatic mode, according to a statement from the Indian government.
