The six teams have solidified their rosters for the third DP World International League T20 Development Tournament, following the Player Selection Draft on August 18 at Dubai International Stadium.
Each squad includes 15 UAE players, showcasing the nation’s promising cricket talent, with several having already participated in the DP World ILT20.
This tournament will provide a stage for emerging UAE cricketers to demonstrate their skills before the DP World ILT20 2025 Player Auction, set to occur shortly after the Asia Cup 2025.
Abu Dhabi Knight Riders Development has added Ibrar Ahmad, who claimed four wickets in seven matches for the team in the latest DP World ILT20. Aditya Shetty, who played in Season 2, and Shahid Iqbal Bhutta, with three appearances in Season 3, also join the team.
Dubai Capitals Development features Farhan Khan, who impressed in ILT20 Season 3 by defending 11 runs against MI Emirates’ Kieron Pollard in the season opener and played seven games. Zeeshan Naseer, part of the senior squad last season, also joins.
Gulf Giants Development includes Aayan Khan, a staple of the senior squad since ILT20’s inception, who excelled last season with 10 wickets in 10 games at a 6.17 economy rate, along with Muhammad Uzair Khan, who appeared twice in Season 3.
MI Emirates Development has selected Aryan Lakra, who returned to the senior squad in Season 3, and Zahoor Khan, a three-year franchise member with five wickets in seven matches last season.
Sharjah Warriorz Development features experienced Rohan Mustafa, who played 12 matches in ILT20 Season 3, leading the team to its first playoff with a standout 45-run performance against Gulf Giants.
The ILT20 Tournament will follow a single-league, round-robin format from August 24 to September 3, while the DP World ILT20 Season 4 will start on December 2 and conclude on January 4.
