On Monday, Dubai Taxi Company (DTC) announced a partnership with Keeta, a food delivery platform, to expand its delivery bike fleet to 500 by the close of 2025, according to their CEO.
“We’re enhancing the e-commerce landscape by providing bikes to major aggregators in Dubai. Keeta, a new player in Dubai and the UAE, is now part of our support network. We’ve agreed to supply them with around 500 bikes, complete with drivers, to bolster their business and logistical needs,” stated Mansoor Rahma Alfalasi, CEO of Dubai Taxi Company, in a Monday interview with Khaleej Times.
Currently, Keeta operates approximately 150 bikes for last-mile deliveries in the city.

Alfalasi anticipates that the deal with Keeta will create 500 new bike delivery jobs.

“We’re scaling up by adding more bikes, building a new business line within DTC. It’s commercially beneficial and strengthens DTC’s position in the mobility sector. Starting with a few bikes, we aim to reach 3,000 by year-end. Dubai Taxi is poised to become the region’s leading provider, especially in Dubai,” Alfalasi told Khaleej Times at Gitex Global 2025, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Alex Wei, Keeta Middle East’s logistics general manager, signed the agreement with Dubai Taxi’s CEO during Gitex Global’s first day.
This initiative is forecasted to generate over Dh10 million in revenue in its first year.
DTC’s delivery bike segment is witnessing robust growth, with second-quarter revenues in 2025 up 102% year-on-year, reaching Dh18.2 million.
As per Statista research, online food delivery revenue is expected to exceed Dh5 billion in 2025, with a CAGR of over 3% in the following years, potentially hitting Dh6 billion by 2030.
“DTC is leveraging this growth with its expanding fleet of over 2,000 bikes and enhanced operational capabilities,” Alfalasi noted.
