Dubai is celebrating UAE National Day with a month-long series of events, from Flag Day on November 3 to Eid Al Etihad on December 2, marking the second year of extended festivities. Highlights include a vibrant parade at City Walk and a grand flag procession through the streets, offering a variety of activities for both locals and tourists.

As part of the celebrations, a team of 10 skydivers executed a daring aerial performance over The Palm. This display, led by Emirati athlete Ahmed Al Shehhi, featured a giant UAE flag unfurling during their breathtaking descent, symbolizing national pride and unity.

The extensive celebrations are spearheaded by Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Dubai Government Media Office, in cooperation with various governmental and private entities.

The ‘Zayed And Rashid’ campaign, returning for its second year, allows Dubai to honor the visionary leaders who laid the foundation for the nation’s prosperity.

A massive ground installation depicting the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum was unveiled last month. Positioned near Dubai Frame at the Sheikh Zayed Road-Zabeel Park intersection, the 82-meter diameter artwork is visible from above and crafted from colorful gravel, serving as a striking tribute to the Founding Fathers.
