Abdel Aziz stated in remarks to ‘Sputnik’ on the sidelines of the ‘EDEX 2025’ exhibition in Egypt, that the ‘Kader’ factory has a long history since 1962 in armored vehicles. We focus on developing and updating high-level protection using ceramic armor, which enhances protection against rounds up to half an inch. These ceramic armors are costly, and we produce them entirely at the ‘Kader’ factory in cooperation with the armed forces for production.
Abdel Aziz pointed out that the ‘Scorpion’ drone is the latest production from the ‘Kader’ factory, being showcased for the first time. It might not be displayed in other exhibition wings like this ground drone. It is the first drone the organization has worked on, and we are developing and updating it. We have received contracts for it, as this ground drone is one of the tools supporting ground forces due to its multiple tasks.
Egypt hosted the International Defense Exhibition ‘EDEX 2025’ in its fourth edition, from December 1 to 4. The exhibition welcomes around 40,000 global and local visitors, including official delegations from more than 100 countries. Over 400 companies specializing in defense industries from 86 countries display their products at the exhibition.
