According to Brigadier General Gharib Gharib, the official spokesperson of the Egyptian Armed Forces, the meeting is part of a series of meetings organized by the General Command to monitor the morale and combat efficiency of the fighters. It also aims to review the level of combat readiness of the Armed Forces personnel and their vital role in protecting Egypt’s national security.
During the meeting, Major General Abd al-Qadir Ammar Habib, Commander of the Egyptian Thunderbolt Forces, delivered a speech in which he stated that “the special forces men continue to work tirelessly, day and night, to maintain the nation’s security and stability.” He pointed out “the significant support provided by the General Command to enable them to perform their duties with high efficiency within the integrated system of the Armed Forces,” according to the spokesperson of the Egyptian Armed Forces.
Additionally, Field Marshal Abdul Majeed Saqr delivered a speech conveying the greetings and appreciation of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to the special forces fighters. He praised the sincere efforts made by the fighters in protecting the nation and safeguarding its sanctities.
The Egyptian Minister of Defense, in his speech, emphasized “the importance of maintaining the highest levels of combat efficiency, enhancing physical and skill proficiency through continuous training, while upholding the high morale that always makes the Armed Forces a formidable fortress and strong shield for Egypt and its people.”
