Arab and Islamic countries have expressed their full solidarity with Qatar following the Israeli attack that targeted officials from the Palestinian Hamas movement in Doha. Qatar affirmed its right to respond to the aggression, which resulted in the death of a Qatari security officer. Meanwhile, Hamas announced in a statement that its negotiating delegation, led by its leader in Gaza, Khalil Al-Hayya, survived the assassination attempt, while its office manager Jihad Lubbad, his son Hammam Al-Hayya, and three other companions were killed. It is worth mentioning that the Israeli attack targeting Qatar comes at a time when Doha continues its mediation efforts with Egypt and the United States of America to reach a truce and ceasefire in Gaza between Israel and the Palestinian Hamas movement.
