The newspaper “Al Bayan” reported today, Thursday, that a spokesperson for Emirates Airline—unnamed—stated that the company’s regular flights between Dubai and Damascus (flights EK 913/EK 914) will be suspended starting from November 15 until further notice. He clarified that “this decision comes following a routine operational review aimed at optimizing fleet usage in line with strategic business goals.” The spokesperson added, “All scheduled flights after November 14, 2025, will be rebooked on Flydubai flights.” The carrier expresses its apologies to its valued customers for any inconvenience this action may cause and looks forward to resuming flights soon.

Despite the suspension decision, the air link will remain through the Emirati company “Flydubai,” which will continue to operate its regular flights on the same route. It pointed out that this will allow travelers to continue traveling to Syria through its flights, noting the necessity of booking in advance due to the expected limited availability of seats after the operational switch.
