Escalating Crisis in Gaza Strip

The Palestinian channel “Al-Aqsa” clarified that the Israeli targeting led to the fall of “21 martyrs near the Zikim area north of the sector.” “Wafa” reported that “medical sources announced that the number of martyrs who arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip since dawn yesterday, Saturday, has risen to 47, including 40 who were waiting for aid.” Earlier on Saturday, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip stated that the sector’s hospitals recorded “11 deaths due to famine and malnutrition in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number to 212 deaths, including 98 children.” According to “Wafa”, “Since October 7, 2023, Israel, the occupying power, has been committing genocide in the Gaza Strip, including killing, starvation, destruction, and displacement, ignoring international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop.” The Palestinian agency indicated that “the genocide has resulted in 61,369 martyrs, 152,850 injured, most of whom are children and women, more than 9,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons and a famine that claimed many lives.”
