In his statement to Sputnik, he mentioned that the frequency of aerial and artillery bombardments on various areas in the sector has increased, leading to significant civilian casualties, including children, women, the elderly, journalists, and civil defense personnel. Safi pointed out that both the political and military levels in Israel have agreed to proceed with the military plan to occupy Gaza and displace more than 850,000 Palestinians to the south of the sector in preparation for implementing the displacement plan. He emphasized that the war aims to achieve two directions: the first is to pressure the population to move south, and the second is to neutralize the resistance and search for captives through intensified major intelligence work between the Mossad and the army, under the guidance of the political level. He also noted that the continuous movements of the army aim to achieve specific military objectives but, in return, increase tensions and lead to more loss of life.
The Palestinian Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis reported on Monday the killing of 14 people, including journalists, in an Israeli bombing targeting the reception and emergency building. The media confirmed the strike. The complex stated in a statement on Monday that “the Israeli occupation bombing targeted the fourth floor of the Nasser Medical Complex, followed by another targeting when ambulance crews arrived, resulting in the martyrdom of 8 Palestinians, including Al Jazeera photographer Mohamed Salama, photojournalist Hossam Al-Masri, and journalist Mariam Abu Daqa.”

Egypt called on the international community on Monday to exert all forms of pressure on Israel and compel it to accept the currently proposed deal to reach a truce in the Gaza Strip.
Abdel Aaty, in his speech during the emergency meeting of the foreign ministers of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to discuss the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, at the organization’s headquarters in Jeddah, pointed to “Israel’s continued flagrant and systematic violations and committing crimes and genocide against an unarmed people.” He confirmed that “Israel uses starvation, blockade, and obstruction of the work of UN institutions to undermine the resilience and bravery of the Palestinian people in Gaza and push them to accept the option of displacement in preparation for liquidating the Palestinian issue, which Egypt categorically rejects.”
He stressed the “necessity for the Israeli side to facilitate the entry of aid immediately through all crossings without any obstacles or restrictions,” noting that the sector needs no less than 700 trucks daily to meet the increasing needs of the sector’s population. Abdel Aaty also expressed “Egypt’s condemnation in the strongest terms for Israel’s expansion of military operations in Gaza,” holding it fully responsible for the continuation of the war and the deliberate ignoring of mediators’ attempts to reach a truce, the latest of which was the proposal that gained the approval of the Hamas Movement, which could lead to a deal to release hostages and prisoners, ceasefire, and ensure the urgent and effective access of humanitarian aid to deal with the humanitarian disaster in Gaza.”
Abdel Aaty called on the “international community to assume its legal and humanitarian responsibilities to exert all diplomatic and political efforts to stop these policies and exert all forms of pressure on Israel and compel it to accept the currently proposed deal based on the proposal of the American envoy Steve Witkoff.”
