Gaston Granados, the Mayor of Ezeiza, reported that strong explosions shook an industrial area south of the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires, on Saturday morning, leading to a large fire. Granados added, “The explosions and the fire that broke out in several factories are massive.” Local media reported that at least 15 people were injured due to the explosion, while the pressure from the blast wave shattered windows in homes within a four-kilometer radius. Smoke clouds rose more than 20 meters into the sky, while the flames and successive explosions were visible from afar. Security and emergency teams rushed to the scene to contain the fire and control the situation.
