Al-Hanshiri, who is sailing with the fleet aboard a ship named ‘Deir Yassin’, indicated that last night they experienced heavy drone activity. He explained that smoke bombs were dropped on four ships without any human casualties, followed by intermittent sound bombs that lasted for about five hours. Al-Hanshiri confirmed that the fleet will continue its course to break the siege on the Gaza Strip and complete its mission, emphasizing that these threats will not deter or discourage them.

Israel continues its war on the Gaza Strip since October 2023, which has resulted in the death of about 64,000 Palestinians and approximately 163,000 injured. It has also launched repeated airstrikes on several countries in the region, most notably Lebanon, Yemen, Syria, and Qatar, in addition to its war on Iran which lasted 12 days.

Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir has warned that the Gaza Strip is witnessing a ‘humanitarian disaster’, while the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed the need to end the war in Gaza and to initiate Israeli-Palestinian negotiations aimed at achieving a two-state solution with the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
